During Season 11 of Southern Charm, star Shep Rose planned a healing getaway to Mexico. Meanwhile, Austen Kroll was newly single and apparently ready to mingle. But who was he interested in mingling with?
As fans know, Austen pulled the plug on his relationship with Audrey Pratt. The long-distance issue definitely weighed on their relationship. Still, Austen finally acknowledged that he didn’t see a serious future with Audrey. Thankfully, Austen didn’t continue to waste her time and string her along. So, will Austen be a lifelong bachelor, happy to spend time with his cats, Martini and Piper? Time will tell!
Austen Kroll was ready to flirt with Southern Charm castmate Molly O’Connell
According to The Daily Dish, Austen admitted that he was flirting with Molly O’Connell during the Southern Charm After Show. “I tried to dip my toe in the water, and, like, flirt with Molly a little bit,” Austen explained. He said that they made “just, like, small talk.” However, Austen shared that he was “only talking to her. It was, like, my first attempt at, like, flirting with somebody post [split].” Austen added, “Molly was so unaware, or you know, not interested.”
Still, he said that their interactions were “just very playfully funny,” since he “didn’t want it to go anywhere.” Meanwhile, Molly was shocked when Shep told her that Austen was flirting with her. “Apparently, he hit on me in Mexico. I, I guess, am oblivious to that kind of stuff,” Molly stated. “I think I just feel like, ‘Oh, I’m gross. Or like, oh, there’s no way he’s hitting on me. He must just be being funny.'” I wouldn’t mind seeing Austen and Molly go on a date in a future episode of Southern Charm.
