Gizelle Bryant and Ashley Darby are proving that you can mix love and politics. During Part II of the Season 10 Real Housewives of Potomac reunion, Gizelle and Ashley revealed they both previously dated politicians. Fans were aware of Ashley’s political romance thanks to an October 2025 interview with The Daily Dish, but Gizelle’s reveal caught us totally by surprise. Here’s what you need to know.

Back in October, Ashley told The Daily Dish she had a new man in her life. He described him as “very private,” and revealed he works in politics. She even expressed a desire to get married again, telling the outlet, “I am now officially divorced, I feel like I can actually start thinking about marriage to someone else.”
At the Season 10 reunion, host Andy Cohen asked for an update on the relationship. The RHOP star confirmed she was seeing someone in politics, but the relationship ended. Fellow cast member Stacey Rusch accused Ashley of lying about the relationship, calling it “impossible.”
“Not with your history,” she said, referencing Ashley’s controversial kiss with Charrisse Jackson-Jordan’s son.
Andy brought Gizelle into the conversation and asked if she knew the man Ashley dated. That’s when Gizelle dropped a bombshell of her own.
“I did,” she began. “I thought she was talking about me, because I was dating a congressman. So, I thought that was me. I was confused.”
She shared that the relationship happened after the season wrapped.
“The congressman would never be on camera. I mean, clearly,” she told Andy.
