Lisa Rinna Calls Out ‘Unnecessary’ Move ‘Shady’ Andy Cohen Made

If there’s one thing Lisa Rinna’s gonna do, it’s talk about it. However, this Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum allegedly has her boundaries, unlike her former boss, Andy Cohen. In her new memoir, Lisa threw shade Andy’s way. Because, according to Lisa, several years ago, Andy did something that Lisa found “so shady, so Andy, so Bravo, [and] so unnecessary.”

Lisa’s new memoir, You Better Believe I’m Gonna Talk About It, just hit the bookshelves. Likewise, in 2023, Andy also published a memoir. His was titled Daddy Diaries: The Year I Grew Up. And within his pages, he talked about Lisa.

In Lisa’s new book, she explained, “Andy had given me a heads-up that I was in his new book. When anyone gives you a heads-up that you’re in their book, you know you’re f*cked.” As for what Andy wrote, he recalled getting a text from Lisa “after midnight saying she’s leaving [RHOBH].” And then, he also recalled receiving another text from Lisa, asking “if there was a path forward” for her on the next season of “RHOBH.”

Lisa didn’t like seeing her texts in Andy’s book. “It was so shady, so Andy, so Bravo, so unnecessary. After I read it, I was so mad, I threw his book in my fireplace and watched it burn gleefully,” she said.

But then, things took another turn for Lisa. During the RHOBH Season 13 premiere, producers featured her resignation email on the screen for all to see. “I will not be renewing my contract, and I will not be coming back to RHOBH. Thank you so much for 8 years!!!! All the best, Lisa,” it read.

In her memoir, Lisa labeled the decision to show off her email as “so sketchy.” As Lisa explained, “[Andy] left me in a ditch to have my eyes pecked out by the vultures.” Nevertheless, Lisa remains aware that this is the “game they play.”

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills airs on Thursdays at 8/7c on Bravo. You can stream it the next day on Peacock.
