Disturbing new details have emerged in the case of Caleb Flynn, the former American Idol contestant accused of murdering his wife, Ashley Flynn.
As we previously reported, cops showed up to their Tipp City, Ohio, residence last month after Caleb dialed 911 to report a burglary. He told the police that their two children were inside the home.
Upon their arrival, cops found Ashley dead from a gunshot wound, and newly released bodycam footage shows the frantic aftermath. Caleb was right there, crying and throwing up as he spoke to investigators.

The Tipp City Police Department released bodycam footage to People showing the immediate aftermath of Caleb’s 911 call. He claimed someone had just broken into their home. When the cops arrived, they discovered Ashley’s dead body and Caleb, loudly crying and hyperventilating.
In the bodycam footage, police spoke with the former American Idol contestant inside his home. Panicked, he asked the officer, “Is she gone?”
Later in the video, you can hear Caleb calling his mother to let her know what happened. He breaks down, wailing out, “Ashley’s dead.” A few minutes after their phone call, he threw up.
Several days later, police circled back to Caleb and arrested him. They believe he murdered Ashley and staged the scene to look like a burglary. They charged him with murder, two counts of felonious assault, and two counts of tampering with evidence. He pleaded not guilty to the charges.
A music pastor, Caleb appeared in Season 12 of American Idol, where he spoke about his religious background and his deep love for his wife. He didn’t make it past Hollywood Week.
