The man who brought us Vanderpump Rules and #Scandoval is taking over production of Freeform’s Love Thy Nader. Alex Baskin’s company 32 Flavors is stepping in for Season 2 of the show which features Brooks Nader.
While continuing to produce Pump Rules, as well as Real Housewives of Beverly Hills and The Valley, 32 Flavors will work alongside Walt Disney Television Alternative. Also in the mix are Jimmy Kimmel’s Kimmelot and James Dixon’s Smoking Baby Productions.
Brooks Nader’s reality TV show is getting the 32 Flavors treatment
According to Deadline, Hulu and Freeform hope the addition of Alex will help their show about a former Sports Illustrated model. In addition to Brooks, the show features her three sisters Mary Holland, Grace Ann and Sarah Jane.
Set in NYC, Love Thy Nader focuses on the sisters trying to “make it” in the city, after leaving the Louisiana bayou. Season 1 showed the women moving in together, launching a fashion line and dealing with health issues. It also spotlighted Brooks’ messy breakup with her Dancing with the Stars partner Gleb Savchenko.
As a swimsuit model, Brooks has attracted the attention of Tom Brady and Olympic snowboarder Shaun White, as well as tennis stars Jannik Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz. In addition, Brooks was spotted with The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star Taylor Frankie Paul’s ex Dakota Mortensen. She was also rumored to be dating Ben Affleck, but she shut that down as being false.
Season 2 of Love Thy Nader is expected to premiere later this year. Baskin will be credited as an executive producer along with Jimmy Kimmel, James “Baby Doll” Dixon and Brandon Panaligan.
