Amanda Frances probably joined Real Housewives of Beverly Hills with high hopes. She likely didn’t expect to be caught in a feud for sharing her opinion. But she’s learning quickly that when you have a lot of big personalities together, butting heads is inevitable. Luckily for her, she got some good advice from RHOBH OG Kyle Richards.
Kyle Richards’ private comments to Amanda Frances have been revealed
Amanda did an interview with Page Six’s Virtual Reali-Tea and talked about her rocky start with the ladies of RHOBH.
It would seem like a lot to any reality TV newbie, but luckily for Amanda, Kyle gave her some good input. Amanda revealed (at the 2:28 mark) that Kyle told her, “Hey, everyone here knows this is the job. Everyone knows we have to talk badly about each other.”
Well, Kyle would know. The OG star has been in several feuds over the years (and feuds with Dorit, too). As for Amanda, she felt that questioning and sharing her thoughts with the other women was very “conversational” and “benign,” but it still led to friction.
“It surprised me that it was something we continued to talk about for four dinners,” Amanda said. “Because it was not me holding ill will against anyone.”
Amanda thinks that the prolonged drama was probably intentional, and she felt it was a bit of an “initiation process of sorts” as the new girl on the block. “She didn’t want me to have an easy time growing into the group, at least that’s how it feels to me,” Amanda revealed. She also added that she hasn’t received an apology until now.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills airs Thursdays at 8/7c on Bravo. It streams on Peacock.
