RHOBH’s Amanda Frances Addresses Business, Money, and Cult Rumors

Season 15 of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills has been bumpy for newbie Amanda Frances. At times, she felt like an odd choice for the series. She doesn’t enjoy squabbling with her co-stars, which is usually a prerequisite for joining.

However, her feud with Dorit Kemsley is still alive and well. Dorit confronted Amanda about the comments that the “Money Queen” made about Dorit’s divorce from PK Kemsley. After Amanda claimed that Dorit might be jealous of her youth and wealth, Dorit fired back. “Maybe she’s a little jealous, period,” Dorit said of the newest RHOBH cast member.

It seems that the Beverly Hills ladies aren’t enthused about Amanda’s business. “If I were to break it down just real simply, I self-published my book. I had great success, so I created a course called ‘Self-Published,’” Amanda told PEOPLE, noting that she initially “made a few million dollars selling digital courses online.” She explained that her approach to finances is “mental health-informed and mindset-informed and emotional well-being-informed.” She added, “I’m so proud to be new money. Would you rather be new money or anciently broke?”

In additon, the ladies were interested in Amanda’s past in a cult. “What was weird was it wasn’t like, ‘Hey, Amanda, this is so interesting. Tell me more,’” she stated. “It was like they were coming at it like it was dirt instead of like it was something that I’ve always talked about for 18 years.”

Plus, Amanda shared that she manifested her role in RHOBH, as she told her friends a year earlier that she believed she was “meant to be on TV.”

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills airs Thursdays at 8/7c on Bravo. It streams on Peacock.
