She’s got a new face, and she’s talking all about it! Former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Denise Richards is opening up about the facelift that she was “terrified” to get, but left her looking twenty years younger.
Of course, it was never a secret that Denise had work done, partly because you can see just how snatched she is when you look at her. Her ex, Aaron Phypers, also blabbed about it to the tabloids months ago, and it wound up becoming a central part of one of their court cases.
Denise Richards says she wouldn’t be able to hide having work done
In an interview with Allure, the on-again, off-again Bravolebrity did a full sit-down interview about her facelift. In addition to having her face yanked tighter, she also got a temporal brow lift, upper blepharoplasty, lip lift for the outer corners of her mouth, and just a touch of fat grafting.
“I wanted to put things back up, where they were before,” Denise admitted.
“Being in the public eye since my 20s, people know what I look like—a facelift is not something that I could hide,” she added.
At one point, Denise said she did consider staying quiet about the facelift and letting the work speak for itself. However, Aaron ruined that for her by speaking about it first. According to Denise, he also allegedly hit her while she was recovering from the extensive operations.
“Going through my divorce, my ex disclosed that I’d had a facelift,” Denise recalled.
She continued, “He had a photographer show up outside an appointment where I had some microneedling on my scars. So [my ex] told someone that I had a facelift, and said it was botched, which is really ridiculous.”
Clearly, this facelift is far from botched. She looks like a million bucks, and once this divorce is over, she’ll feel like it, too.
