The entire season of Summer House Season 10 has been weird between Amanda Batula and Kyle Cooke. If anything, it’s clear why they separated. But the tensions escalated on the most recent episode. And housemate West Wilson got in the middle of it all.
After a night out, Amanda chose to hang out with some of the housemates rather than Kyle. Kyle took offense and started spiraling. West was on hand to speak to both parties as emotions peaked.
West Wilson was “uncomfortable” when he heard Kyle Cooke’s words
West appeared on a recent episode of Watch What Happens Live to comment on the fight, and why he felt an obligation to get involved.
“It was a tough watch,” host Andy Cohen said. “At what point did you feel like you needed to get involved?”
West responded, “Typically, at least with couples, I feel like there’s always things you weren’t privy to before. So you just kind of stay out of it. But that one, I felt like I was there in the moment that it took off. And it was just unjustified. And so I felt like, it was my place.”
Fans were shocked as to how defeated Amanda seemed. She questioned what the point was to even discuss the issue with her husband. However, behind the scenes, she cried to West as she shared her feelings.
Andy questioned whether West saw something watching the episode back that he had not witnessed in the moment. He said, “you were saying to me before the show that you only heard part of the conversation. What was new to you?”
“I mean it kinda makes me uncomfortable like even saying it out loud. The comment that he made. And obviously I think everyone knows that I’m not the most activated, angry person. But if I would have heard that, it probably would have been a little different as well,” West said of the offending phrase that Kyle used against his wife.
