The Real Housewives franchise has its long list of celebrity viewers. Whilst the chaotic shows filled with gossip and verbal fights are beloved by many A-listers, not everyone is a raving fan.
Recently, actress Sarah Michelle Gellar went viral for her thoughts on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Specifically, she shared that in her personal opinion, Season 15 in particular was “boring” and “slow”. Some fans instantly criticized the actress for her unexpected diss towards the show, but others actually agreed with her. Amidst the online backlash, one of its main stars, Bozoma Saint John, is weighing in.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star talks of a “lot of drama”
In a recent interview, Bozoma defended RHOBH against Sarah’s comments. She strongly believes that the show has a healthy balance of chaos and just good old-fashioned TV.
“Here’s the thing: There has to be moments where you get deep, and sometimes that depth doesn’t require a lot of action, you know, because our lives are really real,” she told Page Six.
The reality TV star went on to share that even when things may seem dull on camera, there is always something occurring behind-the-scenes.
“There’s a lot of drama going on. That doesn’t necessarily mean conflict between us, but it is drama within each of our individual lives, and you gotta allow space for that.”
Previously, Bozoma teased that the Season 15 reunion is going to be filled with drama. So, maybe if Sarah tunes in to watch it she’ll have a change of heart and retract her statements. Only time will tell.
