The Real Housewives of Atlanta is back, and new alliances and love interests seem to be the name of the game. There are unlikely friendships and rumors, but most eyes remain on Porsha Williams and her new girlfriend. Phaedra Parks is all for it. She’s happy her RHOA bestie is happy.
Real Housewives of Atlanta’s Porsha Williams is dating Patrice “Sway” McKinney
Fans learned about Porsha and her relationship with Patrice “Sway” McKinney last year. Following her tumultuous divorce from Simon Guobadia, Porsha shared that she was open to dating both men and women (which likely explains her male love interest in the RHOA premiere).
But it looks like Porsha found love in the “lady pond.” She and Patrice hard-launched their relationship last November. The RHOA star said her girlfriend will be featured in the new season, and her castmates are here for it.
Phaedra Parks talked to DECIDER about her thoughts on Porsha’s new relationship. “She seems very happy,” Phaedra said (at the 4:08 mark above). “Porsha is a free spirit. I never figured her to go all out and get a girlfriend, but Porsha likes to try new things, so this is definitely a new page in her book. I’m excited.”
“Sway is absolutely the sweetest, the most handsomely gorgeous woman,” Phaedra added, admitting that Patrice was a great match for Porsha. “She’s so sweet, she’s so kind, and she adores Porsha. When Porsha is happy, I’m happy. Frick and Frack is back!”
She’s definitely supportive of Porsha entering the lady pond despite not being in that pond herself. “This one is not in the pond,” Phaedra explained, pointing to herself. “But if she (Porsha) wants to get in that pond, have it. I love it. Sway is the best. We all want to be loved. And wherever you find it, honey, enjoy it. Dig in. Two scoops at a time.”
