Robyn Dixon Returning to RHOP Cast, but There’s a Catch — Report

After spending two seasons on the sidelines, it looks like Robyn Dixon will return to The Real Housewives of Potomac in Season 11. The word on the street is that we’ll see her back in the mix, which means we’re getting a well-deserved, on-screen reunion of the Green-Eyed Bandits.

The news of Robyn’s return comes after a previous report said she had been “auditioning” for a spot. It sounds like she made the cut, but don’t expect to see Robyn raising a champagne flute.

Robyn Dixon won’t be full-time on Real Housewives of Potomac

According to a source who spoke to Reality Blurb, Robyn has signed on to Season 11 of The Real Housewives of Potomac as a Friend. The same outlet previously revealed that Gizelle Bryant, Wendy Osefo, Ashley Darby, Tia Glover, Stacey Rusch, and Karen Huger would be returning for full-time roles.

For some RHOP fans, Robyn’s return might feel surprising. In Season 10, she refused to appear on screen at an event honoring her Reasonably Shady podcast. In a confessional, her podcast co-host, Gizelle, said that Robyn still had some hard feelings over her exit from the show. Getting fired didn’t feel good, but supposedly, she’s gotten over it.

“Robyn is definitely back as a friend,” the insider confirmed.

So, what changed? Apparently, the economy. The insider said she “swallowed her pride” because she “needed the money.” Those silk-lined hats won’t pay the bills forever.

When discussing the part-time role, the source noted how it made more sense for Robyn because it would alleviate some of the pressure on her husband, Juan Dixon. She didn’t want to have to put their relationship back under a “microscope.”

“Juan also didn’t like being dissected on TV and being involved in the show,” the source said. “And by Robyn being a friend, he won’t have to play a part in it.”

Of course, we’ll have to wait for Bravo to make the official casting announcement. In the meantime, the insider teased that we can expect to see a newbie in the mix with the cast. Keiarna Stewart, Jassi Harris, and Angel Massie were all reportedly fired.

The Real Housewives of Potomac is streaming on Peacock.
