Candiace Dillard Bassett Real Housewives Of Potomac

The Real Housewives of Potomac will never be the same because of THE FIGHT. Monique Samuels and Candiace Dillard Bassett’s feud went to the ultimate level, and everything is forever altered. You can feel how fractured the group is because of this vicious incident. However, Monique has yet to show any remorse for her actions. Until that happens, things won’t be able to move forward in any way.

To this point, neither woman involved in the altercation wants to take any blame. Something has to give. Someone needs to be the bigger person and accept their role in what went down. Given she was aggressor, we’ve likely seen the last of Monique’s group scenes. It’s a shame how low things got and how toxic they’ve become. The next big question is if Candiace is willing to press charges. That’s a massive step.

Candiace Dillard Bassett Real Housewives Of Potomac
The Real Housewives of Potomac cast are still at Monique Samuels‘s lake house for tonight’s episode. However, the husbands show up to shake things up. Well, almost all of them show up. Chris Bassett, Chris Samuels, Juan Dixon, Edward Osefo, and Ray Huger come through. Gizelle Bryant’s ex-husband/current boyfriend Pastor Jamal Bryant is in Atlanta. And, Ashley Darby’s husband Michael Darby is “with clients.”
Meanwhile, this text that Candiace Dillard got claiming that Michael has “a boyfriend a wife” finally comes up in conversation after way too many episodes of teasing us. How will Ashley react? Well, given the way they’ve been able to move past numerous scandals and the fact that they are expecting their second child together, it’s fair to assume they worked past Michael’s latest scandal.
Michael is basically a full-time Real Housewives of Potomac cast member at this point. His shenanigans are the gift that keeps on giving. He definitely provides the most to the show in terms of storylines, up to this point at least.

Ashley Darby Real Housewives Of Potomac

Some things never change on Real Housewives of Potomac. Once again, Season 5 has Ashley Darby’s marriage, and her husband Michael Darby, as a focal point of the drama. On the positive side of things, Ashley’s dreams of becoming a mother were fulfilled when she gave birth to their son, Dean, on July 7, 2019.

This couple has certainly weathered some marital storms. During the RHOP Season 2 reunion, Ashley announced that she and Michael had separated. Then they decided to reconcile.

Gizelle Bryant

These scenes with Gizelle Bryant and her (cheating) ex-husband/current boyfriend Jamal Bryant and their three daughters are just so uncomfortable to watch. Instead of engaging in a The Parent Trap-style fantasy about their parents getting back together, the Bryant daughters just aren’t here for the romance.

They’ve even said that they think their father is talking to them more often in order to impress their mother which is both gross and sad (if true). And then there’s the geography of it all: Gizelle lives in Potomac (obviously) and Jamal resides in Atlanta. How is this gonna work out in the long run?

Candiace Dillard Bassett Real Housewives Of Potomac

Candiace Dillard Bassett was left dumbfounded at the end of last week’s episode of The Real Housewives of Potomac. In her eyes, she’s the victim of a gang up. The new alliance between Gizelle Bryant and Monique Samuels is her worst nightmare right now. Everyone at the table wants her to give an apology, and she wants no part of it. Does Candiace have any true friends in this group? Besides Wendy Osefo, maybe not.

After all of the drama last year in her personal life, who would’ve thought Ashley Darby would invite them all to her home? This Sip and See is going to be lit. Charrisse Jordan is going to be there, and we might finally get some interaction between her and Monique. So many rumors are flying. ADDRESS THEM.

Ashley Darby Real Housewives Of Potomac

There was so much foreshadowing on last week’s Real Housewives of Potomac episode of the looming fight between Monique Samuels and Candiace Dillard Bassett. The Real Housewives of Potomac are back into the groove of things, and there is no other franchise on fire like this right now. Everyone is so hype waiting for the physical altercation to play out between Monique and Candiace. Hopefully, we actually get to see it, and it’s not heavily edited.

It would be nice to get a more in-depth look at Wendy Osefo on this new episode. Last week was such a sweet taste, but I want more! She’s going to fit in great with this group. Class is officially in session, and Wendy is here to school these women. Another big issue in play is the motive behind Candiace’s friendship with Charrisse Jordan. Is she plotting behind Monique’s back? Is there an ulterior motive here?

If you’re still sleeping on The Real Housewives of Potomac, please fix your life. This franchise DELIVERS. If you’ve been paying attention, you know we are in for a whirlwind of a season. All eyes are going to be on “Drag Me” Monique Samuels and Candiace Dillard Bassett. The fallout of that friendship is set to be a major focal point this season. Plus, we are getting a new wife! Dr. Wendy Osefo is ready to school these women.

There’s no shortage of Potomac OG’s returning this season either. Gizelle Bryant, Karen Huger, Robyn Dixon, and Ashley Darby are all back for another round. Gizelle and Karen have been frenemies for so many years, will this be the season they fix things? Robyn is usually paint dry boring, but maybe she’ll step it up. As usual, it seems like Ashley is giving us marital drama with more Michael Darby allegations.
