Call me crazy, but repeatedly shading Karen and doubting if she lives in her own home isn’t a recipe for friendship. Gizelle theorizes that Karen only lives in a portion of her house during tonight’s episode.
Real Housewives of Potomac fans saw Gizelle Bryant in a vulnerable state last episode. She was dumped yet again by ex-boyfriend, Sherman Douglas, mere hours before he was to escort her to Candiace Dillard’s wedding.
Gizelle decided to attend anyway. She consumed a significant enough amount of alcohol to make peace with both Monique Samuels and Karen Huger by the end of the night. Whether the truces will last remains to be seen, but of course, in reality TV it’s about the journey not the destination.
What would a season of any Real Housewives franchise be without one big juicy scandal that splinters out to cause drama and tension amongst the cast? For the fourth season of Real Housewives of Potomac, it was a very serious allegation of sexual assault.
A cameraman filed charges against Ashley Darby’s husband Michael Darby. He accused the real-estate mogul of “grabbing and groping” his buttocks. The charges were dropped, but not before speculation ran rampant.
Last week’s Real Housewives of Potomac season premiere set the stage for a drama-filled season. The cookie moment between Gizelle Bryant and Karen Huger was iconic. It’s so fun watching those two ladies try to outdo each other in the shade department. We also got that NASTY scene with Michael and Ashley Darby that our eyes can never unsee. We deserve a public apology for that moment.
The drama between Candiace Dillard and her mom looked like it might spoil her big day. Her mom simply did not want her half brother there. Last week they fought over the situation, but surely they won’t fight at the wedding right? Her mom is her own biggest fan, so she might want to put the spotlight on herself. I cannot wait for this roller coaster wedding episode with the entire cast present.
Real Housewives of Potomac is back for Season 4. Most of the ladies are at their peak petty right out of the gate. Mainly, Gizelle Byant and Karen Huger. Gizelle persuaded her daughters to bake cookies for a grieving Karen. Gizelle bombarded Karen with a phone call when she was a few minutes away from her Great Falls home. Obviously, she wanted to catch the Grand Dame off guard while she was on camera.
Karen wasn’t going to fall for that though. During Gizelle’s first call, Karen told her not to come over. When she called again, Karen said that her mysterious friend Matt Byars would meet her at the door instead. In response, Gizelle refused to deal with Matt, who she dislikes for no discernible reason. So what was Gizelle thinking durring what is bound to be labeled as cookiegate?
WHAT A SEASON THIS WILL BE. The Real Housewives of Potomac appear to be stepping up their game on a major level. Karen Huger’s line at the end of the season preview is the greatest thing I’ve ever heard. The situation surrounding Michael Darby is so bizarre, and Karen is calling it like it is. This is exactly the push this show needed to be on par with the others in the Real Housewives franchise.
Last season was so impressive for the Potomac ladies. We got THAT umbrella moment with Monique Samuels and Robyn Dixon. IT WAS ALMOST RIP ROBYN. Plus, we got to see Karen host the weirdest press conference in history to reveal nothing. Hopefully, this season is just as on point. It seems to be because Karen trying to use an oven is so hilarious. I love watching rich people struggle with basic household tasks. That will never not be funny to me.
The Real Housewives of Potomac cast members delivered for Season 3. They were heavy on the shade, drama, and dishonesty. The reunion left off with Karen Huger grieving while frienemy Gizelle Bryant offered comfort. Ashley Darby shared her intent to conceive a child. Monique Samuels was pregnant with her third baby.
The Real Housewives of Potomac taglines for Season 4 are finally here! Just in time for the premiere on May 5th. And the ladies are certainly bringing the attitude.
There are some surprises and innuendos. Gizelle Bryant changed her trademark phrase. Meanwhile, Karen Huger is still reigning supreme as the Grand Dame. No one can keep the group in line and hold her own as well as Karen. Still, that doesn’t stop Ashley Darby from getting a dig back at her. Candiace Dillard references her upcoming wedding. Robyn Dixon and Monique Samuels express new outlooks. Tie in all the trailer footage and this season promisess non-stop conflict.
