On The Real Housewives of Atlanta, Pinky Cole has been getting very honest about the financial struggles she encountered while running her Slutty Vegan empire. In real time, it’s a slightly different story.
Pinky filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy just days after Bravo confirmed her casting on RHOA Season 17. She responded to the news with a series of social media posts, downplaying the bankruptcy as a smart personal finance decision. However, she’s now pleading with a judge to keep her financial details private as the case plays out in court.
The Real Housewives of Atlanta star wants financial paperwork filed under seal

Pinky’s bankruptcy case got messy last month when one of her creditors tried to seize an investment property she owns. She fought to get it back, just in time for a new renter to start their lease. But, it’s headlines like that that have her asking a judge to keep her financial details sealed.
In new court documents reviewed by TMZ, Pinky pleaded with a judge to keep all of her financial details off the public record. She told the court that she’s a “celebrity” and she’s worried about the potential media coverage that would come with that information becoming public. She really doesn’t want the world talking about how much money she does or doesn’t have.
In her filing, she cited how media outlets have already been covering the bankruptcy filing. Whoops! Is she talking about us?
Either way, Pinky said she has several businesses she’s required to submit information on as the bankruptcy case proceeds. She’s got her fingers crossed that we never hear about it, but a judge has yet to rule on her request.
The Real Housewives of Atlanta airs on Sundays at 8/7c on Bravo. You can stream it on Peacock.
