Amanda Batula is opening up about life In The City. The Summer House alum will be starring in the upcoming spinoff alongside Kyle Cooke, Lindsay Hubbard, Danielle Olivera, and Andrea Denver. The series will kick off on Tuesday, May 19 with a two-hour, two-part crossover event following the Summer House Season 10 finale. Amanda recently dished about the new show in an interview with Bravo. Here’s what you need to know.
In The City premieres on Bravo later this year
In a promotional video for In The City, Amanda summarized the new series in a few words.
“You are going to see drama, crying, [and] fighting,” she said in an April 11 video posted to Bravo’s Instagram account.
Bravo released a first-look trailer on April 7 that lived up to Amanda’s description. The three-minute video featured heated discussions, relationship drama, and a surprising cameo from West Wilson. Fans were already excited about the new series, but Amanda and West hard-launching their “connection” on Instagram has only increased public interest.
On March 31, the two shared a joint Instagram statement confirming rumors that they are romantically involved. The statement came after both parties denied the rumors in separate interviews. They addressed misleading fans in the statement, writing that they needed time to process their feelings before speaking publicly.
The news shocked the Bravo world, with much of the fanbase rallying around West’s ex, Ciara Miller. There are still many questions about how this unlikely pair came to be, and fans are hoping In The City provides some answers.
West is not listed as a main cast member, but he will make an appearance on the show.
In The City will premiere on Bravo. Summer House airs Tuesdays at 8/7c on Bravo. It streams on Peacock the following day.
