Khloé Kardashian Regrets Lamar Odom Documentary ‘Favor’

Khloé Kardashian isn’t shy about being on reality TV for sure. Her family created a dynasty in the medium. And the Good American founder knows the potential risks and rewards of participating.

So perhaps it was a calculated risk to appear on her ex-husband’s documentary. Khloé and Lamar Odom were married for seven years between 2009 to 2016. The year prior to the dissolution of their marriage, Lamar suffered a near-fatal overdose. Netflix’s Untold: The Death & Life of Lamar Odom explores that infamous time in his life. He was found unresponsive. To add complexity to the situation, Lamar was at a Las Vegas brothel at the time.

The Kardashian sister called out her ex’s alleged “crazy” behavior

During the April 15 episode of her podcast Khloé in Wonder Land, Khloé revealed that she “spent hours doing this documentary as a favor.” But is now reacting to Lamar’s complaints about what she said, namely “pissed” that she’s “even involved.”

“I think what’s pissing me off is, we did this, all good. I was done with this. I’m like, I’m never going to do another Lamar thing again, ’cause I’m all good. But now Lamar is doing press [and saying he’s] annoyed with me. Claiming or insinuating that I’m a liar, all these things, discrediting me, saying that I wasn’t the one that helped him,” she said.

Khloé added, “I feel so dumb.”

On the Today show April 6, Lamar disputed his ex-wife’s claims that his father refused to put him “on life support.” The NBA player also minimized Khloé’s role in his recovery. The reality TV star notably put divorce proceedings on hold.

It tooks months of “contemplating” for Khloé to decide to participate. Netflix even claimed they needed Khloé to “finish [the doc] .” Interestingly, she didn’t get “paid one penny” to relive the “traumatic” time in her life.

The cultural icon said, “‘I want to make sure this is a positive piece. I don’t really want to go down this road if it’s negative. He’s been through enough.'”

“All I did was tell the story that I was asked by you to tell, but now to, like, play in my face and now to act like I didn’t do any of the things I did and insinuate I’m a liar is crazy,” Khloé shared. “I feel played.”

Untold: The Death & Life of Lamar Odom is now streaming on Netflix.
