Senator Ted Cruz believes that when it comes to online trolling, President Donald Trump gets more trolled than Meghan Markle. The politician’s comment came after the Duchess of Sussex claimed that she “was the most trolled person in this entire world.” Markle claimed this while speaking to students in Melbourne, during her and her husband, Prince Harry’s four-day trip to Australia.
Senator Ted Cruz believes Donald Trump surpasses Meghan Markle as ‘most trolled’ in the world
Senator Ted Cruz has the belief that President Donald Trump surpasses Meghan Markle as the world’s “most trolled” individual. The politician recently gave a brief interview to TMZ while walking through a corridor. During this interview, the interviewer from the news outlet says to the Senator, “I wanted to ask you, Meghan Markle just said, she’s the most trolled person in the world and has been for the last ten years.”
In response to this, Senator Cruz expresses, “I don’t know about that. I don’t really have strong views on her. I thought she was good in Suits. I enjoyed her in that series.” After that, the politician explains his liking for the Duchess of Sussex’s USA Network show, which ran for nine seasons from 2011 to 2019.
The interviewer then goes on to ask Cruz who he believes is the “most trolled” person in the world, if it is not Markle. The politician replies, “I’d probably say, Donald Trump.” Then the interviewer asks the Senator a follow-up question about whether he thinks that the trolling of the US President is “fair” or “unfair.” In response to that, Cruz says that some trolls are fair and some are not.
Finally, the interviewer asks the Senator if he faces some trolling as well. Cruz confirms that he does get trolled. However, he reveals that trolls do not bother him. “If it’s funny, I laugh,” the Senator adds.
