This comes as Trump continues to remain unpopular inside and outside the USA.

Jimmy Kimmel talks about Donald Trump’s Las Vegas trip

Jimmy Kimmel, who is no stranger to taking digs at President Donald Trump, revealed that he was almost unable to enjoy his getaway to Las Vegas, Nevada, with his wife. He cited the reason to be President Donald Trump. The 58-year-old veteran talk show host shared the story on Monday, April 20, with the live audience.

He began by saying that he and his wife, Molly McNearney, decided to take a weekend trip to Vegas. However, the plan got pushed back because of flight delays. “I went to Las Vegas with my wife this weekend, and we almost didn’t get there because our flight was delayed. And then delayed, and then delayed, and there was no explanation why until we finally…got off the ground [and] we landed,” Kimmel said.

This confession was followed by Kimmel mocking former President Joe Biden during the unveiling of his official portrait at Syracuse University.

He then went on to explain the reason behind his flight delay. Kimmel said that he “found out they closed the airspace.” He went on to remark, “Guess who decided to fly out of Las Vegas on Friday afternoon when everyone’s trying to fly in?”

The audience started to boo, realizing that he was talking about Trump. Kimmel added, “That’s right, Scammy Davis Jr. was in Vegas.” The studio audience cheered on Kimmel at the use of the nickname.

Kimmel, however, received some online backlash for this recent commentary, with some calling him out for needlessly targeting the President.
