You never forget your first love. During their days on Dawson’s Creek, Joshua Jackson was in a relationship with Katie Holmes for the first two seasons of that show. She described the actor who played Pacey Witter in that show as her first love in real life. Katie portrayed Joey Potter on the show.
Fans apparently want the two to give their real-life romance another try. Katie posted a photo of herself and Joshua with her arms slung around him. People online were quick to comment, pleading for them to date again.

The rumors are swirling that Katie and Joshua might get back together. Katie is partly responsible for this speculation. The ex-wife of Tom Cruise has been liking numerous comments from fans about her and Joshua. The photo of the two sparked many to suggest to two start dating again. Her liking those posts has the rumor mill buzzing.
This speculation comes as Katie and Joshua prepare to reunite on screen in the movie Happy Hours. In March, Joshua teased fans about a romance by noting the chemistry between him and Katie.
For those desperate to see them back together, you may be disappointed. An insider tells TMZ that the pair find this hype comical, but by the sounds of it, they’re just friends. They apparently found it cute that people are still rooting for a Joey and Pacey romance.
Adding to the speculation is the fact that both are available, it seems. Joshua divorced Jodie Turner-Smith last year, while Katie hasn’t been linked to anyone since breaking up with Bobby Wooten III in 2022. Dawson’s Creek ended its run after six seasons in 2003. Their characters wind up together at the end of the original run. Their upcoming film Happy Hours will premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival on June 6.
