After speculation that his tell-all, “Spare,” received criticism from the royal family, Prince Harry may reportedly co-author Meghan Markle’s memoir. Markle may not be rushing to publish one right away, but a new report suggests that the idea is not completely off the table.
The memoir is allegedly just on hold. And now, word on the street is that this tell-all is valuable for the Sussexes, though sensitive. Moreover, it is one of those projects that they may only come back to when the timing is in their favor.
Meghan Markle will likely co-author tell-all with Prince Harry, per source
Closer reported that talks of Meghan Markle’s tell-all book continue behind the scenes, and Prince Harry may have a part to play in it, even if it means that the couple has to revisit their time in the royal family.
A source told the outlet, “It’s true that Meghan is holding back on a tell-all memoir for now she’s absolutely not opposed to writing one down the line.” They also claimed, “And it will likely be co-authored with husband Prince Harry.”
Additionally, the insider added, “The idea that she’s ruled it out completely just isn’t correct, it’s more that she’s being very strategic about when and how she does it.” They claimed that a tell-all still has a “huge value.”
However, reaching the kind of deal she would want would mean going back to her time in the royal family. And that is not where the Sussexes reportedly want the spotlight to be right now. So, the source claimed, “For the time being it’s something she’s pressed pause.”
The Sussexes have appeared in major interviews and projects to share their perspective on royal life. Since then, Meghan Markle has worked to build projects that stand on their own, including her Spotify podcast “Archetypes,” her Netflix series “With Love, Meghan,” her lifestyle brand “As Ever,” her children’s book “The Bench,” — and now potentially a tell-all, allegedly only if she has Prince Harry’s “full support.”
However, right now, they allegedly “both feel the best thing to do is put it to the side.”
