Pam Bondi is reportedly finding it challenging to land a job in the private sector after U.S. President Donald Trump fired her. The report also claimed that the White House has not offered any assistance or a reference to help her secure a job elsewhere.
Pam Bondi reportedly struggling after getting fired by Donald Trump
Earlier today, the British-American independent journalist Rob Shuter reported that Pam Bondi has been unable to secure any high-profile, private-sector jobs after Donald Trump fired her.
Shuter’s source claimed that the former chief law enforcement officer is looking for a job, but “nothing major has come together.” They added, “The silence from the White House isn’t helping. A strong reference would open doors instantly. Right now, that’s just not happening.”
Notably, the information was reported by the journalist’s unnamed source. Given that there is no official confirmation to support the claims at the moment, this report remains unverified.
For context, on April 2, Trump announced that Pam Bondi was stepping down as the U.S. Attorney General at the Department of Justice (DOJ). While the Republican leader remained diplomatically cautious about her exit, Bondi is the second cabinet member (after Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem in March) to leave the DOJ in recent months. According to the New York Times, Trump was reportedly unhappy with how she handled the Epstein files.
Back on Shuter’s report, the Naughty But Nice podcaster also reported that internal investigations are underway at the DOJ following Bondi’s departure. His source alleged that the department had “real concerns about her performance.”
The source added that Bondi was hoping for a smooth transition into “something big,” but has not been able to do so without backing from the White House. “The path forward gets a lot harder. And she’s feeling that now,” they concluded.
Meanwhile, Todd Blanche is currently the acting U.S. Attorney General at the Department of Justice in Washington, D.C.
