Stefon Diggs may be his own worst enemy. That is the belief from one of his accusers who blasted the former New England Patriots receiver. Christopher Griffith is suing the NFL star, claiming he sexually assaulted him in 2023.
The four-time Pro Bowler has denied those allegations but believes those claims have hurt his reputation. Christopher, however, is pointing the finger squarely at the 32-year-old, saying he is to blame. Stefon broke up with his girlfriend Cardi B earlier this year. Recently, Christopher weighed in on that news and its potential impact on Stefon.

Christopher isn’t holding back his thoughts about Stefon. Some explosive documents obtained by the U.S. Sun have the influencer taking aim at the NFL star. They imply that Stefon is responsible for his reputation apparently being dragged through the mud. In his filings, Christopher wrote that Stefon “very publicly started and ended a relationship with the musical artist Cardi B, with Mr. Diggs painted as a villain in the tabloid press.”
His claims didn’t end there, with Christopher alluding to another incident when Stefon was spotted on a yacht allegedly distributing “an unidentified crystalline substance to women.” This took place on a yacht in May 2025. That infamous moment came mere weeks after he confirmed that he was dating Cardi B. They reportedly broke up days before he took part in the Super Bowl for the Pats.
Earlier this week, Christopher put in a request to obtain Stefon’s financial information. This was because he questioned whether or not he’d truly suffered financial losses from Christopher’s lawsuit. He’s said that Stefon and his team have been stonewalling him on that front. Stefon filed a defamation suit against Christopher in response to his sexual assault claims.
In September, Cardi B announced that she was pregnant. She had a son in November, her fourth child and the first with Stefon. Shortly after the Pats’ Super Bowl loss to the Seattle Seahawks, the club released him.
