AOC talks about Donald Trump firing women

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez recently spoke with Pablo Manríquez of PabloReports and criticized Donald Trump for firing only women from his cabinet.

The reporter asked AOC about who she thinks will be next in line to get fired by Trump. In reply, she quipped, “I mean, is he out of women? That seems to be his pattern right now. Trump only seems to have the capability to fire female secretaries.” She further stated that male representatives in Trump’s administration have nothing to worry about, as their wrongdoings will be rewarded. AOC named FBI Director Kash Patel and stated that he has done worse. She also conveyed, “They don’t seem to have a rhyme or a reason. Unless it has to do with the [Jeffrey] Epstein files.”

On Monday, the latest member of Trump’s cabinet to leave was Labor Secretary Lori Chavez-DeRemer due to abuse-of-power allegations. According to AP News, she wrote on social media, “I am proud that we made significant progress in advancing President Trump’s mission to bridge the gap between business and labor and always put the American worker first.”

Before her, in April, Trump announced that Pam Bondi would be stepping down from her role as the US Attorney General. He conveyed on Truth Social that Bondi will take over an “important new job in the private sector.”

On the other hand, in March, Trump announced that Kristi Noem was leaving the position of Secretary of Homeland Security. He also announced that Markwayne Mullin will take over her role.
