Once bitten, twice shy … right? Well, not according to The Valley newbie Tom Schwartz. Despite the bar he shared with bestie Tom Sandoval going out of business after just a couple of years, he hasn’t ruled out teaming up with his former Vanderpump Rules co-star in the future.
Schwartz doesn’t rule out a future with Sandoval in business

To recap, best friends Schwartz and Sandoval successfully partnered with Lisa Vanderpump and Ken Todd when they opened TomTom in West Hollywood. Later, the duo decided to open their own bar together: Schwartz & Sandy’s.
Infamously, the bar took ages to open. And it even led to the breakdown of Schwartz’s marriage to Katie Maloney … among other reasons. Once it was finally open, however, the bar took a beating when Scandoval rocked the Bravoverse. Ultimately, it just couldn’t recover from the damage and closed after two years.
You’d be forgiven for thinking, then, that Schwartz would have reservations about getting into business with Sandoval again. “I don’t think I would ever open a bar with Tom again,” he actually told Bravo’s The Daily Dish, before adding: “But I hope to work with him again ’cause I love Tom.”
“We do have a really good collaborative energy. I enjoy working with Tom,” he went on. “I hope someday we can work together in some capacity.”
Recently, on an episode of Watch What Happens Live, Sandoval also reflected on the demise of his bar venture with Schwartz. “It [was] a tricky area to be in,” he said, pushing the blame onto the bar’s location in Franklin Village rather than, say, his affair with Rachel Leviss. “It was very hard to get that place going; I think it would have closed eventually.”
The Valley airs Wednesdays at 8/7c on Bravo. It can be streamed on Peacock the next day.
