Donald Trump Jr. has dismissed claims that his wedding to Bettina Anderson has been delayed. The report, released by Page Six on Saturday, May 2, cited anonymous sources claiming that the wedding has been postponed until “timing is right politically.”
Trump Jr. reacted to the report, which was later shared by the New York Post, with an X (formerly Twitter) post. Shutting down the rumors, he wrote, “News to me.”
Previously, Page Six reported that Trump Jr. and Anderson had postponed their wedding due to the ongoing Iran war. “They’re very aware that a lavish wedding at the White House while people are dying wouldn’t be well-received,” a source told the outlet.
“Especially after the state dinner for King Charles — it would be too much pomp and circumstance,” they further claimed. The insider added, “Don was fully supportive of the bridal shower and the bachelorette party — he wants everyone to know he adores her and that they plan to get married. But they want to make sure the timing is right politically before actually setting a date.”
Trump Jr.’s dismissal of the rumors comes a month after his fiancée, Anderson, hosted a grand bridal shower at Mar-a-Lago. While Melania Trump reportedly skipped the event, her future sisters-in-law, Ivanka Trump and Tiffany Trump, were present. Other family members who were in attendance include Lara Trump, Tiffany’s mother, Marla Maples, and Arabella Kushner.
Anderson later offered a glimpse into the lavish affair with a photo dump on Instagram. “Still soaking in how beautiful and special Sunday was. To be surrounded by so many women I love and admire, and feel so grateful to have in my corner, meant more than I can say,” she penned in the caption.
