Dancing with the Stars fans are already impatiently waiting for Season 35. Two reality TV stars have already been announced as cast members. Summer House star Ciara Miller and fellow The Traitors alum Maura Higgins will be slipping on their dancing shoes. So, will Terri Irwin be joining them in the ballroom?
Will we see Robert and Bindi’s mom on the dance floor?

During Season 34, Terri’s son, Robert Irwin, took to the dance floor with partner Witney Carson. They performed a beautiful tribute in Terri’s honor, and his mom also took part in the dance. “This is a moment with my mother that I will cherish forever. And I know my dad would be so proud,” Robert said in the pre-packaged segment, referring to Terri’s late husband, conservationist Steve Irwin.
Not only did Robert take home the Mirrorball, but his sister, Bindi Irwin, also won the trophy during Season 21. So, will Terri make it a three-peat someday?
During the 3rd annual Steve Irwin Gala, Terri was asked about joining the competition series. “I’ll review the petition and get back to you in five to seven business days,” she joked with E! News. “I am honored to be asked if I would do it because it’s an amazing thing. I remember Bindi saying, ‘This is the closest you’ll ever get to flying.'”
Terri added, “The dancing has gotta be the most athletic, incredible, moving experience that you could have, so I think it would be really special.” Meanwhile, Robert is ready to pack her bags. “We’re gonna get her on the next season,” he stated. “I’m gonna make it happen!”
In addition, Robert has already picked out Terri’s perfect partner. “Mum, I’d think you’d dance so well with Val [Chmerkovskiy],” Robert stated. Meanwhile, Robert is hosting the DWTS spinoff series, Dancing with the Stars: The Next Pro, which will grace our screens this summer.
Dancing with the Stars is available to stream on Disney+, while Dancing with the Stars: The Next Pro premieres on Monday, July 13, on ABC. Episodes will stream the next day on Hulu.
