An insider exclusively told InTouch Weekly that Prince Harry’s main concern is how people will treat Meghan Markle once they are back in the UK. They claimed that he does not want Markle “walking into a situation” where she feels that people are judging her. He adds that he merely wants everyone to treat her with “basic respect” and not to declare her “as the villain before anything’s even happened.”
Moreover, the insider added that the Duke of Sussex “wants firm reassurance that everyone will keep things polite and give her a fair chance.” But this reported stance has not gone over well with everyone, with the source claiming that Harry’s position is already “rubbing a lot of people the wrong way,” especially because some within royal circles may see his demands as another complication.
The insider further suggested that Harry is in a difficult position as he tries to balance his relationship with his father, King Charles, “while also protecting his wife,” adding that the family dynamics are “tricky.” Furthermore, the source pointed out the “irony” of the situation.
