Next Gen NYC Season 2 Cast Adds Brooke Shields’ Daughter Rowan Henchy

Next Gen NYC is adding a new nepo baby to the cast for the upcoming second season. This time, it’s the daughter of actress Brooke Shields set to make her reality TV debut. Rowan Henchy, Brook’s eldest daughter, will be joining the crew in the Big Apple when the Bravo hit show returns on June 24.

The Bravo series is set to return later this year

When the Bravo nepo babies series premiered, it was an instant hit! Fans loved seeing the children of their favorite reality TV stars mixing it up and pursuing their dreams in New York City. It looks like the show is expanding from reality TV royalty and adding the progeny of actors as well.

DECIDER reported that in the trailer drop at the NBC Upfronts, Rowan is introduced to the Gen Z cast of New Yorkers. She was actually spotted filming with them last year, so this isn’t a total shock.

Meanwhile, Gia Giudice had to explain to her longtime boyfriend, Christian Carmichael, who Rowan’s mom is. She settled on calling her Hannah Montana’s mom. Wow. Has no one ever seen Blue Lagoon or Endless Love? But I suppose it makes sense to explain it to him in language he understands.

Brooke is even set to appear on Next Gen NYC with her daughter. In a clip, Rowan walks about carrying an urn of her grandmother’s ashes. Brooke jokes, “I put my mother next to the two things she loves the most, me and booze.”

Other new faces include Nickelodeon actor Liam Obergfoll and Kendall White.

The new season is set to focus on the former crew since the last time we saw them, including Ariana Biermann and Hudson McLeroy’s short breakup last fall. While the two are apparently back together, Ariana was single while shooting, and perhaps the most shocking part of the trailer is the tease of a potential hookup between her and Charlie Zakkour, season 1’s memorable villain.

We’ll have to wait to find out more.

Next Gen NYC  Season premieres on June 24. Season 1 is streaming on Peacock.
