The Next Gen NYC kids are returning for Season 2, with a trailer newly-released, and according to Bravo, “it’s anything but chill.”
The reality TV offspring are still hustling to make a life in the city that never sleeps. While trying to live their “authentic” lives and make it in the big city, they’re each dealing with their own issues. While chasing careers and community, they also confront breakups and disappointments.
In a world driven by image and ambition, it doesn’t take long to realize that “making it” is one thing. But being able to count on your friends and relationships is what really matters.
The hit Bravo reality show is back for a second season
As the trailer opens, Ariana Biermann and her boyfriend Hudson McLeroy have broken up. This development not only complicates their lives, but could also mess up filming, as well as their expected appearance at BravoCon.
Meanwhile, Charlie Zakkour complains, “My life on this show is Larry David on Curb Your Enthusiasm.” In Season 1, Charlie’s bad behavior had him butting heads with nearly everyone on the show. At one point, he get so irritated that he left the group chat and went radio silent.
Also Georgia McCann is still not washing her hands, which Riley Burruss is so not cool with. And there’s a new girl in the group, Rowan Henchy, who happens to be Brooke Shields’ daughter. Brooke was an ’80s icon, but the Next Gen kids only know her as “Hannah Montana’s mom,” which is news to me.
And when Riley mentions a couple being the new “dynamic duo,” it stirs a childhood memory for Gia Giudice. “Oh my god,” she cries. “What is that movie with the two dogs and they kiss? Lady in the Train!” Um, that’s Disney’s Lady and the Tramp, as a producer reminds her.
Next Gen NYC Season 2 premieres June 24 at 9/8c on Bravo. It streams on Peacock the following day.
