Hailee Steinfeld celebrated her first Mother’s Day on May 10 and shared adorable photos of her baby daughter in her celebration post the very next day. The “Hawkeye” star announced in April that she had welcomed her first child with husband Josh Allen. However, this marks the first time she has shared any photos of the newborn on social media.

The five-photo carousel Hailee Steinfeld shared on May 11 included two snaps of her baby daughter. The first one, shared as the cover of the carousel, showed the little one’s hand wrapped around her mother’s finger. In addition, the final picture captured the baby’s legs clad in a white onesie with a cute strawberry-inspired design on the feet.
Steinfeld captioned the post, “A day late but simply obsessed with this.” Other photos showed all the cards she received for Mother’s Day, the delicious lunch she had, as well as the cake celebrating her new role as a mom. One of those cards appeared to have a handprint of her baby girl in pink. The text next to the handprint read, “From tiny hands to a lifetime of love.”
Her co-star, Jeremy Renner, expressed how “happy” he was in the comments. “Happy New Mothers Day !!! I am so very happy for you,” he wrote. Rebel Wilson also commented, “The biggest congrats.” Fans also filled the comments section with love and best wishes for the new mother and her baby.
Steinfeld announced that her baby girl was here in her April 2 Substack post, “Special Delivery.” In the newsletter, she wrote, “We’re feeling incredibly grateful and blessed and savouring these early moments. Thank you so much for the love and well wishes.”
She shared a brief update in her April 3 Substack post, writing, “Thank you for all your kind words and messages yesterday! To say we are unbelievably happy and in love with this baby girl would be an understatement.”
