Carl Radke of Summer House is not holding back. He is sharing his opinion about West Wilson and Amanda Batula’s relationship, and he’s not sugarcoating anything. When asked if he thought that West and Amanda would go the distance, the Soft Bar owner said 100% no.
The Summer House star doesn’t see the relationship lasting
Honestly, Carl is just saying out loud what a lot of people are probably thinking. And it holds a little more weight coming from someone who personally knows all the parties involved.
Carl appeared on Watch What Happens Live. He was there along with Ariana Madix (the irony!), who knows how it feels to be in the middle of a scandal and is now trauma-bonded with West’s ex, Ciara Miller.
Andy Cohen took the opportunity to ask Carl his take on Amanda and West’s newly revealed scandalous relationship. “I guess this is the big question,” Andy said. “Do you think Amanda and West will last? You’ve known Amanda for the entire time we’ve known her on the show. Do you think they’ll last?”
“Absolutely not,” Carl replied without skipping a beat.
He had already heard several rumors before Amanda and West made their relationship public. “I thought to myself, ‘This happens to us all the time. There’s no way this would ever happen.’”
Carl also revealed that he hasn’t spoken to West since the reunion, after saying he couldn’t hold space for someone like him.
“He texted me two different times after the reunion,” Carl said. “I appreciate the texts. But even things that I’ve learned over the last week, it’s just been like, stuff just keeps piling on.”
Ariana wanted the tea and asked what he’d learned in the last week, and Carl replied, “Some Housewives stuff that’s bubbled over. It’s messy.”
He’s not wrong. Rumors about West and Real Housewives of New Jersey alum Jennifer Fessler have surfaced and added a whole new layer to the already scandalous couple. While Jenn has denied ever having anything intimate with West, Ciara has made it clear that she thinks they’ve hooked up.
