Andy Reid drops major details on whether he is invited to Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift’s upcoming wedding. As per Page Six, Swift and Kelce are slated to wed on July 3 in New York City at the singer’s lavish apartment in the city. Not only that, but the pair has also distributed “save-the-date” wedding cards.
Reid recently sat down for an interview with Kansas City sports radio’s 96.5 The Fan. The interviewer asked, “The social event of our lifetime is happening this summer. Have you received your invitation to Travis and Taylor’s wedding?”
Reid quipped, saying, “I probably have. If I don’t outgrow my tuxedo before then, I’m going.” He continued by saying that he was “so happy” for Kelce and Swift. “When it really comes down to it, it doesn’t matter how big the show is around them. They’re in love,” the 68-year-old added.
Interestingly, Taylor Swift previously revealed that Andy and her dad, Scott Swift, are longtime friends. She revealed this during her debut appearance on the New Heights podcast. The “Opalite” singer said, “I didn’t really know what the sports were that he was doing, but I knew that that was my dad’s friend Andy Reid. I now know that he is the most iconic, legendary coach of all time.”
Kelce, too, has only kind words for the coach Reid. In a report published by The Kansas City Star, the Chiefs TE said, “I love that guy, man. There’s nothing outside of this building that’s going to make me feel any different. We know each other’s intentions exactly.” Kelce also lavished praise on Reid, saying that the coach brings the best out of everyone and that his own skillset has improved because of him.
