Welcome back, Below Deck Down Under fans. Last week, Barbie joined the crew, which made Jenna feel insecure. As a result, Jenna sent Eddy a quick, flirty text, trying to regain his attention. However, Eddy showed her text to Ben, leading Ben to end things with Jenna. This triggered Jenna to spiral emotionally, and now, her downward story arc continues on BDDU Season 4 Episode 16.

What happened in Below Deck Down Under Season 4 Episode 16?

This week, Jenna’s spiral continues, making everyone uncomfortable. As emotions rise, one crew member gets stripped of their stripes, while another threatens to quit. Meanwhile, tensions resurface between the galley and the interior, teasing a messy end to this season.

Jenna self-destructs

Daisy tries reasoning with Jenna, but her words fall on deaf ears. Jenna is “in full self-destruct mode,” Daisy tells the camera. Back on the yacht, Ben admits that he “kissed [Jenna] on the lips.” Eddy hates that, but he is starting to “feel bad” for Jenna, and he wants to talk to her.

Ben quickly talks Eddy out of that. He does give Eddy a script to use at a later date, though: “I’m prepared to be your friend, but I’m over you, and I’m moving on.” Eddy leaves their cabin.

Shortly after, Jenna stumbles in, drunkenly asking Ben why he is so angry with her. They get nowhere, and Jenna angrily pulls his door closed. “Jesus, she’s slamming doors,” João says. Then, Jenna starts yelling down the hallway, which the crew also overhears.

Stomping up the stairs, still yelling, Jenna emerges in the saloon, asking Eddy to “listen” to her. “Absolutely not. Stop this,” Daisy orders. But Jenna persists, asking Eddy why he showed Ben her messages.

Eddy is at a loss for words. So, João and Alesia intervene, but they also fail. Clearly, no one knows what to do, except for Barbie. She’s eating a bag of chips, asking herself, “What is happening on this boat?”

Finally, Jenna heads to her cabin. She locks the door behind her, refusing to open it when Daisy asks. Daisy eventually gives up and heads to her own cabin, ready to sleep away this nightmare of a night.

But fate has other plans. In their cabin, João offers Daisy a compliment. Daisy smiles and crawls into his bunk, where she stays for the rest of the night.

In the morning, Eddy sends Jenna a text, asking, “Can I come give you a hug?” Jenna ignores it and heads to the primary cabin instead. Ben lets her in as Eddy starts searching the boat, looking for Jenna. He finally finds her cuddled up with Ben.

“F*ck off,” Eddy sighs. “Oh sh*t. That’s a kick in the teeth,” Ben admits. Eddy walks away, and Ben and Jenna take to their confessionals, thankfully acknowledging that they both messed up here.

Ben needs advice. He finds Captain Jason and fills him in on everything he blissfully missed. As the men talk, Eddy appears. Ben calls him over, but Eddy turns around and heads in the other direction, telling Ben he “can get f*cked.”

Eddy runs into Jenna immediately after and refuses to speak to her as well. Several beats later, Captain Jason approaches Eddy on the sundeck. Finally, Eddy speaks, but his words are sad. “Captain, I just don’t know if I want to be here anymore,” he says.

In a scene that probably made many viewers swoon, Captain Jason confides in Eddy, telling him that he “would [also] love to be with someone, I really would. But when you look for it, if it’s hard, it’s probably not right.” The men hug, and Eddy returns to work, thankful for his captain turned “father figure.” Making this scene even better, Betul walks in, and she also gets a great big hug from Captain Jason.

Sadly, the niceties end here. Ben runs into João, and he tells him that he kissed Jenna that morning. João shares this intel with Daisy and Barbie, and Daisy is livid. This mess involves all three departments, which spells trouble for their next charter.

Jenna gets demoted

Clocking in for the first time with a snarky yet highly accurate read, in her confessional, Betul tells Eddy that “Karma’s a b*tch.” She recalls Eddy flirting with Alesia over text at the start of the season. He also put Jenna down, suggesting he would dump her to be with Alesia.

Nevertheless, after their preference sheet meeting, Captain Jason talks to Daisy about Jenna. He is majorly bummed by everything Daisy says. Also bummed is Eddy, who finally talks to Ben. He calls Ben a “prick” and leaves him alone with his feelings, which Ben has no choice but to accept.

Speaking of feelings, Daisy and João finally go on a date. They, at least, have a lovely time. In the morning, Eddy apologizes to Ben, and then he sits down with Jenna. He ends things with her for good, and Jenna starts crying.

Her tears worsen after Captain Jason strips her of one of her stripes. She pulls herself together before their guests arrive, but thanks to her lesser stripe, Ellie finally gets her wish and stands next to Ben on the pier. Only, no, “She’s still not above you,” Daisy sighs when she later hears about this.

Daisy gets even madder when Ben asks her to fillet eight fish at their guests’ dinner table. She tells Ben no, but he makes her do it anyway. Needless to say, it goes horribly, and Ben and Daisy are back at odds.

Below Deck Down Under is streaming on Peacock. BDDU airs on Mondays at 8/7c on Bravo.
