Donald Trump Sticker Goes Viral Amid Iran Tensions and Gas Price Increases

So many people are impacted by the rising cost of gas and living, and they are expressing themselves in a myriad of ways. A viral sticker of Donald Trump has been at gas stations, protesting rising prices as tensions with Iran increase.

President Trump is facing backlash for his decisions on Iran

According to Forbes, the current national average price of gas has now reached $4.53 per gallon. Some states are even seeing prices up to $6.00. Everyone knows that a large part of the reason for rising costs is Trump’s decision to go to war with Iran.

Oil prices changed again after Trump issued a warning to Iran over the weekend, pushing markets higher. The president’s message rattled traders who are already tracking dangerously low global supply.

Iran controls the Strait of Hormuz, where much of the US gas travels through before reaching the pumps. And his ongoing tension with him is hitting home for a lot of Americans. Even his once loyal fanbase is calling him out for the financial burden this has caused.

One way they are expressing their feelings is through viral anti-Trump stickers that are popping up at gas stations across the country. Several Reddit users shared samples of these stickers. Many are placed on pumps with messages like, “Iran up your gas prices” with a photo of the president. Another has him pointing at the prices and with the speech bubble that says, “I did that.”

The posts on Reddit have spawned hundreds of reactions, including screenshots of former Trump tweets where he accused former President Barack Obama of wanting “to attack Iran to get re-elected.”

The people aren’t happy with the additional burden of rising prices both at the pumps and in every aspect of their everyday lives. And now with tension still high and stockpiles vanishing, prices are already reflecting the risk of prolonged disruption.
