Speculation has been swirling about the upcoming Season 16 of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Rumors about pauses, casting, and more. RHOBH veteran Dorit Kemsley is now the center of a rumor that she’s been put on a pause following her dramatic Season 15 and reunion. But before fans run with that, RHOBH producer Alex Baskin steps in to squash it.
Is Dorit Kemsley leaving the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast?
Rumors about the Housewives franchises are normal in between seasons. This time, fans were worried that RHOBH might be put on pause like other franchises because it wasn’t initially listed in Bravo’s renewal list. However, OG Kyle Richards put that rumor to rest with a simple comment that confirmed RHOBH was not on pause.
Now, fans say that producers have put Dorit on pause because of her dramatic Season 15 and her many feuds with the cast. The rumors said that Kyle, Erika Jayne, Sutton Stracke, Bozoma Saint John, and Rachel Zoe were all in for Season 16, with Jennifer Tilly coming in as a “friend.”
Fan theories also said that Bravo will offer controversial newbie Amanda Frances another contract, even though she’s confirmed she hasn’t been formally asked back yet. Plus, they believe Crystal Kung Minkoff was coming back.
But, before this rumor gained traction, Alex stepped in and reminded fans not to believe everything they read. He quickly shot down the speculation by writing, “Not true” on his Instagram Stories.
Still, things are a bit tenuous for Dorit and the RHOBH ladies. Since her separation from PK Kemsley and subsequent financial issues, she has a lot on her plate. She did say, though, that she’d be open to returning if they asked her. She also acknowledged she was in a dark place during Season 15. Perhaps things will be better in the next season.
So, lesson learned. Not all rumors hold water. Looks like this one isn’t based on facts. Fans will have to wait to see who’ll be holding a diamond for RHOBH Season 16.
