Taylor Frankie Paul has not had an easy year. The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star was due to appear on The Bachelorette recently, but the series was pulled at the very last minute when domestic violence allegations came to light. Now, the TikTok star has opened up about “psychological torture” in an emotional post on social media.

Taking to her Instagram Story, Taylor reflected on the tough times she’s been through of late. Alongside a photo of a bruised arm, she wrote: “The psychological torture damaged me way more than the physical.”
“You eventually become a shell of a human,” she continued. “This is hard to share because it’s hard to come to terms with.”
Although Taylor didn’t share any further context about the image or the “torture” she’s referring to, she has previously been open about her turbulent relationship with Dakota Mortensen. He appeared alongside her on SLOMW, and the pair share a child.
Earlier this month, she reflected on everything that has happened regarding the accusations against her in another post on Instagram. “I said I wanted to share the process, and it’s hard with limited context right now,” she began. “Accountability is needed, I’m well aware. We’ll start that right now.”
“I was love bombed, then manipulated, threatened, physically hurt, cops called on me, publicly humiliated, lost most friends because he got to them,” she added, presumably referring to her ex, Dakota. “CPS called, and now in court, all because I said no more and he knew I meant it this time,” she went on.
Taylor went on to say she has been “in survival mode for years” and thanked her fans and friends for all the support so far.
