Palace Doing ‘Hard Reset’ on Meghan Markle & Prince Harry – Expert

Frogmore Cottage is being renovated, and royal expert Kinsey Schofield believes the palace is doing more than just redecorating. The Royal Residence is undergoing a “hard reset” by reversing the $2.8M revamp done by Prince Harry and Meghan Markle on their UK home, three years after their evacuation.

When asked about the Cottage’s future, Kinsey stated that it will be “empty for some time,” with the next royal generation eventually moving in.

Schofield goes deeper into the royal family’s decision, saying, “You know I like to imagine there’s someone walking through Frogmore Cottage right now burning sage and opening every window. The Royal Family isn’t just renovating Frogmore Cottage; they’re spiritually cleansing it, is what I want to believe.”

She added, “But yeah, the Palace is basically doing a hard reset. New paint, new decor, and no Montecito memories.”

Moreover, the expert also believes that the palace may remain empty for a while, “as the older generation disappears,” until Prince George or Princess Charlotte live there in the future.

Schofield appeared on her own segment, “Kinsey Schofield Unfiltered,” on Sky News Australia on May 28 and revealed the royal family’s plans for Frogmore Cottage.

Frogmore Cottage was originally built in the 1800s and was gifted to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle by Queen Elizabeth II in 2018 as their first marital home.

In 2020, the couple gave up their HRH titles (His or Her Royal Highness), citing reasons that ranged from intense media scrutiny, racism concerns, and lack of support from the family. They relocated to Montecito to lead a more private life and built a multi-million dollar lifestyle hinging on Netflix deals, Spotify projects, and lucrative brand partnerships.

The royal family was caught off guard and was extremely disappointed with this decision, with Queen Elizabeth describing the situation as “complicated”.
