Andy Cohen admits he “dropped the ball” when it came to revealing the identity of the Summer House leaked audio sleuth.
On Monday, April 27, Andy announced on Radio Andy that Bravo had concluded its investigation into who released audio from the Season 10 reunion. He told listeners a Bravo fan cracked the case and teased that fans will soon learn the identity of the mystery detective.
Some fans suspected Bravo fanatic and A-list actress Jennifer Lawrence may be responsible, though that has never been confirmed. This week, Andy gave a much-needed update on the case.
The Bravo boss promised it was “a good reveal”
Hopefully, fans won’t have to wait much longer for the reveal. On the Monday, June 1, episode of Radio Andy, John Hill pressed Andy about the situation, asking him when fans can expect an update in the case.
“Yeah, I kind of dropped the ball on that,” Andy admitted. “I’ll get on that. We need to reveal it. Yes. It’s a good reveal.”
While we don’t know who solved the case, we do know that someone on production leaked the audio. Bravo released a statement that shared the findings of their investigation.
“An investigation into the recent leak of the Summer House reunion audio has concluded that the audio was an unauthorized recording and distributed by an individual involved in the production of the reunion,” the statement read. “As a result of the findings, appropriate action has been taken. There is no evidence that any member of the cast was involved in the recording of the audio.”
Andy also shared insider details about the investigation on his Radio Show.
“They had people analyzing what kind of device recorded, they had investigators,” he explained. “Now I’m home recuperating Friday night, the investigators were on it, and all I can tell you — and you will hear more about this later — but a Bravo fan came forward.”
