Taylor Swift fans finally know what all the cryptic clues were about. Fans have been eagerly awaiting confirmation that Taylor was somehow involved with the upcoming movie, Toy Story 5. And the news just dropped!
Taylor Swift has a single release for Toy Story 5
Swifties have been buzzing about what the Easter eggs could mean, with many believing that Taylor would be featured on the soundtrack. She shared a photo via Instagram with the caption, “It’s a *Toy* Story. You knew it! My new original song I Knew It, I Knew You for Disney and @pixar’s @toystory 5 will be yours on June 5th,” the singer wrote.
“I’ve always dreamed of getting to write for these characters who I’ve adored since I was a 5 year old kid watching the first Toy Story movie. I fell instantly in love with Toy Story 5 when I was lucky enough to see it in its early stages, and I wrote this song as soon as I got home from the screening.” She added, “Sometimes you just know, right?”
There are three options, with different cover art and song versions, that fans can purchase on Taylor’s website. Each CD features a jewel case with Side A featuring Toy Story artwork. Meanwhile, Side B has a photo of Taylor as the cover art. There is the regular version of the original song, an acoustic version, and a piano version. These singles are available until June 3, 2026, at 1:59 pm ET, or until they sell out. Get ready to shop!
Of course, Taylor is also juggling another major project. Her wedding to Travis Kelce is reportedly next month, so the bride-to-be must be deep in wedding planning mode. And allegedly, to keep security tight, Taylor and Travis decided to nix a plus one for their guests. Trying to keep their nuptials private must be insanely difficult, so Taylor’s decision is completely understandable.
Toy Story 5 will be released on June 19 in theaters.
