Mehmet Cengiz Oz, aka Dr. Oz, has recently branded a section of the US population as “lost” and “stupid” as he gave his brutal take on “Trump Derangement Syndrome.”

A new video shared by the Daily Wire ON X (formerly Twitter) shows the Administrator of the US Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services responding to a reporter’s question about this particular syndrome at the recent White House press briefing. The clip has gone viral, garnering a lot of attention.

Dr. Oz claims ‘treating stupid is really hard’ when asked about ‘Trump Derangement Syndrome’

Dr. Oz recently took a cutting dig at US people who allegedly have “Trump Derangement Syndrome.” As reported by Therapy Group of DC, it is a political term and “not a diagnosis listed in the DSM-5 or any other clinical manual.” It reportedly implies that “critics are so blinded by dislike that they can’t perceive reality.” Per the news outlet, “The label discredits rather than describes.”

In the meantime, the viral video from the recent White House press briefing, posted by the Daily Wire on X, captured a reporter asking a striking question about the “Trump Derangement Syndrome” to Dr. Oz. The reporter asked, “Do you have any medical advice with the Americans out there that are suffering from a very serious ailment called ‘Trump Derangement Syndrome’?”

Dr. Oz immediately gave his striking response to the reporter’s question. The government official expressed, “I am concerned about folks who have focused their entire life energy on dislike of the President.”

After that, the Administrator of the US Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services explained, “It’s disheartening to see people lost in that way.” He then further went on to say, “But, you know, it’s treating stupid is really hard.” After that, the government official went on to claim, “And it becomes a real problem.” The official added, “But these folks are off,” also added the physician and author.
