Meghan Markle‘s latest Instagram post has raised eyebrows online. The post featuring her in a denim-on-denim look has left netizens wondering whether the unusual image is hinting at an OnlyFans page.
Here’s why Meghan Markle’s denim outfit went viral
On June 9, the 44-year-old Duchess of Sussex uploaded a series of photos captioned “Springing into summer.” The 11-photo carousel featured Markle lounging on the lawn at her Montecito estate, alongside snapshots of baby birds, fresh produce, and the family’s pet beagle basking in the sun. It also included glimpses of Prince Harry playing soccer with their seven-year-old son, Archie, and a photo of five-year-old Lilibet wearing a Beyoncé T-shirt.
However, one particular image drew the most attention online. It was the headless image of Markle dressed in a denim-on-denim outfit. Critics questioned the look on display. One user wrote on X, “What is this? Shirt unbuttoned to the belly button, bizarre angle, and legs spread. #MeghanMarkle actually took this selfie & thought ‘yes! This is the ONE!!’ The [Duchess] is losing it.” Another commented, “It is strange, the composition is awful, it is also extremely unflattering, and the clothes untidy, there’s no style, no elegance, so why post this!”
Many users suggested the image resembled an advertisement for OnlyFans. An individual wrote, “This is vulgar. Anybody would know that and not publish it.” Another user slammed her, saying she is “the furthest thing from royalty” and should be barred from royal circles.
According to RadarOnline, Markle’s casual outfit reportedly cost about $21,800, including a necklace. Markle is wearing a $225 Sunday Denim Shirtigan paired with $325 Upper Village Jeans, both from the Tracy James collection, creating a coordinated denim-on-denim look from the brand’s line. In addition, she accessorized the look with a diamond-and-emerald necklace by designer Logan Hollowell, valued at around $21,150.
