Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have reportedly been giving a makeover to their private home in Portugal. As reported by the Daily Mail, the couple turned to Soho House’s designers to revamp their exclusive $8 million property. According to the news outlet, the Sussex couple bought the house back in 2023, three years into their royal exit from life in the UK.
The news outlet further reported that Harry and Meghan have a long-standing association with the notable global chain of members’ clubs. In the meantime, according to the news outlet, the Duke and the Duchess hired Vicky Charles, the former design chief at Soho House, for the renovations at Frogmore Cottage, which stands in the grounds of Kensington Palace. It was allegedly a part of an approximately $4 million makeover plan that took place back in 2019.
Meanwhile, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s luxury Portugal property is reportedly believed to be situated in the coastal area. However, neither Soho House nor the royal couple has made any comment on the alleged revamp of their home in Portugal publicly.
In the meantime, Soho House reportedly has had its very own consultancy for interior design. The consultancy allegedly works for members who wish to recreate their own home’s look.
