Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding will reportedly include non-celebrities as well

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce announced their engagement with a beautiful Instagram post in mid-August 2025 that sent the internet into a meltdown. “Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married,” read the caption of their joint post. Their A-lister friends, family, and fans showered them with love and blessings.

Almost a year later, the couple is finally gearing up to tie the knot in what is possibly the most high-profile wedding of the year. In recent months, sources have made various claims about the upcoming nuptials. The latest of those is that the wedding guest list will also include non-celebrities.

According to TMZ, Swift and Kelce have not only invited people who are not famous, but also those with whom they have only met “a few times while working on various projects over the years.” The outlet reported that some people were surprised that they got invited to the wedding. Besides A-listers, studio executives, agents, and managers, the couple has also invited people who left a positive impression on them at some point, even if they are not a part of their inner circle.

Earlier, TMZ alleged that the wedding guest list includes 1,100 to 1,200 people. They also claimed that the songstress has rented out Madison Square Garden for the wedding for at least three days. According to sources, she is paying retail price, with the booking fee being approximately one million dollars per night. The couple has reportedly personally called and texted guests over the phone instead of sending physical invitations.
