Euphoria Fans Think Colman Domingo Just Addressed a Long-Running Feud Rumor

A seemingly harmless game on “Watch What Happens Live” has “Euphoria” fans convinced a long-running cast rumor may not be so far-fetched after all. Colman Domingo’s recent appearance on the Bravo talk show has reignited speculation about an alleged rift between co-stars Zendaya and Sydney Sweeney.

For years, rumors have swirled around the hit HBO drama’s cast, but Domingo may have unintentionally added fuel to the fire with just one paddle raise.

Zendaya and Sydney Sweeney rift speculation resurfaces after Colman Domingo appears on WWHL

During a June 11 appearance on “Watch What Happens Live,” Domingo joined his “Disclosure Day” co-star Emily Blunt for one of Andy Cohen’s favorite clubhouse games: “Agree or Disagree.”

The premise was simple. Cohen read out industry-related statements, and the actors responded by holding up signs. Things got interesting when Cohen declared, “When it’s rumored that two co-stars are clashing on set, there’s usually at least a little bit of truth to it.”

Both Blunt and Domingo immediately raised their “Agree” paddles. That was all some viewers needed. Since Domingo played Ali, Rue Bennett’s mentor throughout all three seasons of “Euphoria,” fans quickly connected his response to ongoing rumors surrounding Zendaya and Sydney Sweeney, Decider reported.

Speculation about a possible feud has circulated for months. Reports previously claimed the actresses had grown distant due to personal differences.

The rumors intensified after the Season 3 premiere when some fans felt the pair appeared noticeably separate during promotional events. Others also noticed Zendaya was absent from one of Sweeney’s behind-the-scenes photo collections from filming.

Sweeney recently pushed back against the narrative in an interview with Vanity Fair. “We all grew up together on this show, so it’s honestly crazy to watch how much social media and the press spin things,” she said.

Of course, Domingo never mentioned Zendaya, Sweeney, or “Euphoria” during the game. His answer was a broad statement about Hollywood, not a confirmation of any specific feud.
