Andy Reid assures fans that Travis Kelce has no distractions amid Taylor Swift’s wedding preparations. Reid told reporters that Kelce is working hard to join the Chiefs for the upcoming season.
The 68-year-old coach stated, “He’s been here most of the offseason, if not the whole offseason. He’s been around, so it’s good to have him here. And he did the mandatory camp and did a nice job there. Good to have him back in and rollin’. He’s very excited. You see no distractions with that wedding…when I got married, my wife did everything, so I just kind of followed her.”
Kelce is entering his 14th season. He previously credited his fiancée Swift for encouraging him to rethink his retirement decision and give his career another chance. The 36-year-old discussed this on The Pat McAfee Show. The Chiefs tight end explained how he and his fiancée “share the same love for what we do.”
Kelce admitted that Swift’s brilliant work ethic and how she is still so passionate about her career inspired him to give his career another chance. The 36-year-old also exclaimed, “Also, knowing that I’m in a phase where I’m trying to figure out what the future holds for me, something like that definitely motivates me to say that, you know what, I’m not done either. I still have some ideas at the back of my mind. I still got some juice left to, you know, play this game.”
