Meghan Markle Blames Prince Harry for Major Popularity Setback — Source

The popularity of Meghan Markle and her brand, As Ever, in the US is declining, according to the latest polls. And this news is not sitting well with the Duchess. Hence, in a bid to save their popularity and the brand, Markle is urging her husband, Prince Harry, to “pull his head out” to avoid further risking their brand’s popularity.

Meghan Markle has reportedly blamed Prince Harry for the setback after the latest poll reflected that their popularity in the US is plummeting. Recent data reviewed by Newsweek showed that the Sussex popularity ratings in the country declined compared with previous months. The change represents a “13-point decline over two quarters.”

Furthermore, the site claimed that traffic to Markle’s As Ever brand website fell by 89,000 in the US in January. After the poll results were posted, the “Suits” alum is finding it “very hard to ignore” the numbers.

“It’s beyond demoralizing. She’s put so much effort into her brand over the last couple of years; to get this kind of lackluster response is a very painful reality for her to face,” as a source told Closer. Hence, Markle wants Harry to be “equally invested in building their brand” even if it is “‘too Hollywood” for him.

According to the source, Markle has “complained” that Harry “acts as though he’s above it all, when in reality they can’t afford to be above it,” and that this “poll and the dismal numbers prove that.” Thus, the mom of two wants Harry to “pull his head out of the sand and start taking this seriously.” She wants the Duke to help build the brand, “making connections, showing enthusiasm and treating their future like a joint mission,” noted the source.
