Season 10 of Summer House had many believing Carl Radke would find love again. He appeared to have romantic chemistry with Bailey Taylor, who shared a steamy on-screen kiss with Lindsay Hubbard’s ex-fiancé this past season.
Carl is looking for something long-term that could lead to marriage. Bailey, though, was hesitant to commit to a relationship with him due in part to past trauma in her past toxic relationship.
The Summer House newbie says dating Carl Radke is “not realistic”
If you thought there was still a chance Carl and Bailey would date, you’d be in for disappointment. On the Not Skinny But Not Fat podcast with Amanda Hirsch, Bailey said, “I think long-term, it’s not realistic.” She said that while confessing that they were “very flirty and I adore him (Carl). I love him.” At the same time, Bailey says that she speaks with Carl the most and enjoys spending time with him.
While she had nothing but good things to say about Carl, when it comes to dating, the two may be on different wavelengths. She says that Carl doesn’t want someone “that’s a shell of a human being when it comes to dating,” referring to her and Carl’s situation.
Unfortunately, there are some obstacles standing in the way of these two being romantically involved. The 10-year age gap between them and the horror of Bailey’s past relationship appear to be big factors.
According to Bailey, she and Carl are “in very very different places.” Bailey hasn’t had a serious boyfriend since her emotional breakup three years ago. She joined the Summer House cast in Season 10.
Bailey’s thoughts seem to be on par with what Carl shared late last month. Carl said that there wasn’t any long-term romance on the cards for them, but that he and Bailey are still friends.
