She has continued to thrive since then. And fans have kept a close eye on her new projects and her continuing relationship with Nic. The pair have a fandom entitled Nicolandria Nation and one for her specifically called the Ola Dolls.
The fans are absolutely dedicated, and for the most part, Olandria is thankful for the love. Cosmopolitan caught up with the multi-hyphenate, and she shared what it’s like pushing the envelope and dealing with public speculation. It can be difficult, especially when it comes to her relationship with Nic, which she strives to keep low-key.
“We don’t monetize our relationship or put it on display. If you genuinely like spending quality time with somebody, it shouldn’t involve a camera every two seconds,” Olandria shared. She added that it was important for them to keep parts of their relationship private for their own mental health and to protect their relationship.
But this hasn’t stopped people from prying and speculating about the status of their love and whether they are still together or not.
“Why is it your business? Are your bills getting paid? Are you touch-deprived? Go get a man; go do something with your life. Why does it matter if me and Nic are together? Even when we were at Coachella, people in the comments were like, “Oh, I just needed proof that they saw each other this week.” Why are you so invested in people that don’t know you?” Olandria asked.
“That part kind of creeps me out, because I’m never that invested in someone’s relationship, and I’m not living for the internet. I don’t always post what people want me to or always do what people want me to do,” she confirmed.
