President Donald Trump went on an aggressive rant on his Truth Social account about George Conway, the onetime conservative attorney who lost his primary bid in New York on Tuesday night. During the rant, Trump did not hold back from making remarks that were deeply personal. Following George Conway’s loss in his primary bid in New York on Tuesday night, President Donald Trump commented on the result in a series of Truth Social posts that included several personal remarks. Conway, the onetime conservative attorney who hoped to run for Congress as a Democrat, lost his bid to replace Rep. Jerry Nadler to Democratic State Assemblyman Micah Lasher.
Trump was quick to comment on the loss. “Wow, Mr. Kellyanne Conway, a Trump Deranged Loser at the highest level, is getting absolutely CRUSHED in the Primaries tonight,” Trump wrote in a Truth Social post.
In the next part of the post, the president also referenced Conway’s divorce from his former wife, Kellyanne Conway, who led Trump’s 2016 campaign and served in the White House during his first term. The Conways divorced in 2023 after more than two decades of marriage.
“He’ll end up at about 5% of the vote in a rather weak field of young and aggressive Communists. No wonder his ‘husband’ dumped him like a dog! This is a truly unattractive person, both inside and out. Have a nice life, George! President DJT,” Trump added in his post. The post received numerous reactions from supporters, with many praising Trump’s comments.
Conway, who campaigned in part on a promise to impeach Trump and seek his imprisonment, was in fifth place at the time of writing.
