Meghan Markle’s Father’s Day Post May Be Linked to Prince William — Source

Meghan Markle’s recent Father’s Day post might be a “calculated” move against Prince William. The Duchess of Sussex was slammed by royal experts over the photo she chose for her Father’s Day tribute dedicated to her husband, Prince Harry. For those unversed, Markle shared a sweet picture of the couple’s kids, Archie and Lilibet, lovingly embracing their father in a heartwarming Father’s Day snap.

Meghan Markle’s Father’s Day post might be ‘calculated’ move

Royal expert believes Meghan Markle’s Father’s Day post is allegedly a “calculated” move against her brother-in-law, Prince William. The point of contention is the choice of photos. Markle shared a loving snap where Archie and Lilibet’s faces were not visible on camera. Meanwhile, Kensington Palace’s official social media accounts released a heartwarming photo showcasing Princess Charlotte’s face.

For those unversed, Kensington Palace shared a sweet snap of Prince William posing with his daughter, Princess Charlotte. William was dressed in the complete ceremonial uniform of the Welsh Guards. On the other hand, Charlotte donned a lovely white dress for the special occasion. Notably, it was also Prince William’s birthday on June 21.

Royal experts believe it is not an accident but rather a deliberate move. Tom Sykes noted on his The Royalist podcast: “So, nothing wrong with that photo that Meghan posted. But when you put it next to William and Catherine’s image, the contrast is very deliberate. I don’t believe it’s accidental.”

As per Sykes, Markle waited for Kensington Palace to post first before she made her move. He explained, “I think that Meghan waited. I think she waited to see what Kensington Palace posted, and then I imagine that she had some options ready, and then she posted something calculated to make a really opposite point.”

Sykes elucidated that the contradiction was the game-changer. While William was in full military uniform in a formal setting, Harry was in casual clothes in a relaxed environment. As per Sykes, Markle was trying to portray her and Harry’s family as real and living their best life. Meanwhile, William’s family was portrayed as institution-like. “So, it is textbook Sussex positioning,” the royal insider alleged.
